In Thoughts at 8:30 p.m., Shum tried to explore the fear and anxiety of the body changes with aging. Grew up surrounded by women, Shum has been exposed to the complex emotions of choosing what to eat in each meal, especially dinner.
During fermentation, the shape of the dough became uncontrollably huge and started drooping, which is a part of the natural and inevitable process.

在《晚上8時30分的沉思》中,沈氏試圖探討身體隨著衰老而變化的恐懼和焦慮。 從小在女性的包圍下長大的沈氏在每頓飯,尤其是晚餐,都要面對周邊的人對應該選擇吃什麼的複雜情緒。
在發酵過程中,麵團的形狀不受控制地變得巨大並開始下垂,這是自然而不可
避免的過程的一部分。
